TCU and Oregon State will kickoff the 2010 college football season on Labor Day Weekend in a Top-25 battle at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. General public tickets for the second annual Cowboys Classic go on sale on Monday, June 14th. The Horned Frogs and Beavers will play at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington on Saturday, Sept. 4th in a nationally-televised game on ESPN.

Tickets for the Cowboys Classic are priced at $45 and $75 for reserved seats and $100 and $150 for club seats. Parking is $30 and $40 for tailgating spots.

For example, the $45 ticket at Ticketmaster will cost you $53.05.

The game is the season opener for both TCU and Oregon State, matching two of the top teams from the Mountain West Conference and the Pac-10 Conference.

The Labor Day Weekend contest marks the second straight year a Mountain West team has opened the season at Cowboys Stadium. Last year, BYU up-ended Oklahoma in the inaugural Cowboys Classic, knocking off the Sooners, 14-13.

The Cowboys Classic is the first-ever meeting between the Horned Frogs and Oregon State. TCU is coming off a stellar 12-1 season that concluded with a trip to the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. The Frogs enter the 2010 campaign ranked No. 6 in ESPN’s College Football Live Pre-Season Poll.

Oregon State finished last year with an 8-5 record, and came one win away from a trip to the Rose Bowl. The Beavers are led by the Rodgers brothers, Jacquizz and James, both from Richmond, Texas.

Kickoff for the Cowboys Classic has not been formally set, but the game is expected to be played in prime time (tentative start time at 6:45pm, but check back at later date to confirm time).
